Atypical Tasks
Not all tasks fall from a schedule. The tasks on this page result from outside events that don't necessarily fit into a schedule.
Reconcile Transactions
Normally transactions are reconciled automatically by GAS MANager as part of a bill run. If an account's balance is brought to zero, GAS MANager will then reconcile any unreconciled payments, invoices, and bills. If an account isn't brought to zero, manual reconciling is required:
- From an account, click the Transactions button at the bottom.
- In the Account Transactions window that pops up, click the Reconcile button at the bottom.
- In the Account Transactions Reconcile window that pops up, choose a group of transactions by filling in a value in the Reconcile column for them. You can choose any value you like, but it is best to just copy the value from the Number column of the payment being reconciled. Use the same value for all the transactions being reconciled. This way you can easily see which bills and invoices are reconciled to the payment.
- When you have selected all the transactions, and their dollar values sum to $0, you can click the Save button at the bottom of the window.
Unreconcile Transactions
You can reconcile transactions manually in GAS MANager or it can be done automatically when an account's balance is brought to zero. If reconciling is done in error, you will need to unreconcile transactions. Note that transactions are reconciled/unreconciled in groups, whose sum must be zero. So a bill for $101 and a payment for -$101 can be reconciled together, but they could not be reconciled if the bill and payment didn't have the same, but opposite, value.
- From an account, click the Transactions button at the bottom.
- In the Account Transactions window that pops up, click the Unreconcile button at the bottom.
- In the Account Transactions Reconcile window that pops up, choose the groups of transactions to unreconcile from the combobox drop-down.
- Click the Unreconcile button at the bottom of the window.

Transfer account to new Customer
This is a simple operation in GAS MANager, but may have consequences in the real world that should be though throught. Making a different customer responsible for an account isn't always appropriate. If you are lucky enough that it is appropriate:
- Just open the Account window and click the Load button.
- Choose the new customer from the list.
- Click the Save button at the buttom of the window.
